I am in awe of this production! Although the cast of this show ranges in age from 8 - 19, the level of talent and the amazing set and costumes are equal to or exceed many of the college level productions I have seen. In my opinion, Ian Cowcer's vocals and performance projects the strong, pure soul of Jean Valjean beautifully. This is my first time to see a Theatrix production as well as Les Miserables and I could not have been more impressed. I laughed, I cried, I loved it! The dedication and talent of these young artists should be supported and applauded. Collapse

I saw it last year, and this year's Les Miz is even better. The background lighting added to the show. The orchestra is amazingly talented. The cast is super, as always. (I am not a parent, just a loyal fan of Theatrix Productions.) I recommend that you go see this now! It is dynamite. Collapse

This is the 2nd year I have seen Theatrix's production of 'Les Mis'. Considering the fact that these are ALL kids and, as the director informed us, they only had 20 rehearsals, they really do an extraordinary job. I noticed a few of the actors from last year's production & they have improved dramatically in a year's time. The most notably improved reprise from last year was Josh Swezey as The Bishop. For my money, Thenardier (Patrick Keith) stole the show. I caught his rendition of Marius, a polar opposite character, a few months back and he performed that character equally well. Jean Valjean (Ian Cowcer) has an absolutely tremendous voice. His vocal training has surely paid off as he is easily the 'best' singer I have heard perform the school edition. His acting, however, leaves a bit to be desired and I found myself not caring about Valjean by the end. If I am being completely honest, I preferred last year's rendition to this year's, but it's still VERY well worth seeing. Collapse
