Cannonball Trail

This free walk-it-yourself tour is a heritage trail, which connects historic sites woven among featured attractions in downtown Norfolk. The Cannonball Trail becomes, in effect, a "story-telling stage" for interpreting Norfolk's rich and multi-faceted history. The Cannonball Trail begins at the Freemason Reception Center, (757)441-1526.

    Arts Cafe Cannonball Trail Arts Cafe Presented by Cannonball Trail at Cannonball Trail May 7, 2009-December 30, 2010 Arts Cafe will offer an alternative venue to mix and mingle in artistic ambiance featuring a changing array of live music, performance art, video and other activities. Visitors can meet friends, make new acquaintances, or view and reflect on art to the tunes of an eclectic array of the region's talented musicians.

    Doodle Bugs! Cannonball Trail Doodle Bugs! Presented by Cannonball Trail at Cannonball Trail May 28, 2008-December 31, 2010 The Virginia Museum of Natural History offers children ages 3 to 5 the opportunity to experience natural history first-hand with their monthly Doodle Bugs! program. The hour-long programs include imaginative stories, fun activities, games, and crafts that spark creativity and curiosity.

    05/28/09- 06/20/10	Student Art Month at Art Works Cannonball Trail Student Art Month at Art Works Presented by Cannonball Trail at Cannonball Trail May 28, 2009-June 20, 2010 In May and June of each year Art Works proudly partners with the art programs at Henrico High School and Maggie L. Walker High School. The work is the result of four years of study and ranges from paintings, sculptures, and installations to fashion. The two schools share the gallery space by exhibiting on different dates.

She started her career as a portrait artist and still enjoys painting both animals and people. She studied art at Sarah Lawrence College, The Corcoran School of Art and the Beverly Studio. She is fascinated by the abstract qualities of the natural world.
