New England Conservatory woodwind quintet Sirocco Winds is in town with the Virginia Arts Festival and in concert for Arts Within Reach. Each year, an audition committee of professional musicians selects a few exceptional student ensembles to represent the NEC Honors Program. The Sirocco Winds, coached by John Heiss, features Anne Gregory, flute, Andrew Mee, horn, Ambrose Tucker, clarinet, Mary Lynch, oboe, and Chris Watford, bassoon.
