Where the Wild Things Are: Maurice Sendak in His Own Words and Pictures is an interactive exhibition featuring handwritten notes, manuscripts and reproduced illustrations. Hands on activity is encouraged for Museum visitors of all ages as they act out narratives of Sendak's well known children's classics. Younger Visitors can don costumes and become wild things, slide into a bowl of chicken soup or enjoy books while sitting on Rosie's stoop.
