It is thought by critics to be the most beautiful of the romances, a fairy tale of a jealous king, his wrongfully accused wife, and the redemption that time and nature can bring. The frosts of winter thaw to the renewal of spring in an uplifting story of the triumph of unconditional love. Travel from ancient Sicily to Bohemia and back again as director Christopher Owens tackles one of the Bard's most challenging stage directions.
