Maria de Buenos Aires is a tango opera by Astor Piazzolla. The music for this piece draws on the nuevo tango idiom for which Piazzolla is famous. While not in the narrow sense of an opera ballet, because the dance is tango rather than classical ballet, it falls within the tradition of having set dance pieces integral to an operatic work.

    Lisa was wonderful. Not for the easily offended, such as the one lady who decided to stand up and make a scene in regards to a comment Lisa made. The best comeback was that as the audience member... Expand

    Lisa was wonderful. Not for the easily offended, such as the one lady who decided to stand up and make a scene in regards to a comment Lisa made. The best comeback was that as the audience member laughed at the racial slurs and jokes, she suddenly became offended to a joke regarding "special needs", very hypocritical. Collapse
