After taking pottery classes at Peninsula Fine Arts and workshops from many renowned potters, Susan has been working with clay for eight years. The 'soft slab' technique allows her to use flowing lines, tucks and twists in unexpected ways. It can be pillowy, slouched, sensuous or even humorous. Starting with a formless lump she creates a work of art with both function and beauty. Susan has been an artist member at Blue Skies Gallery for three years.
