Take 'The A-Train' back to the days of lindy hopping, zoot suits, and 'Stompin' at the Savoy!' Featuring the music of Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington, and more, American Big Band weaves together favorites such as 'Sing Sing Sing,' 'Sentimental Journey,' 'It Had to Be You,' 'Don't Get Around Much Anymore,' and 'Moonlight Serenade.' With colorful costumes, dynamic choreography, dazzling scenery, eleven talented jazz musicians and eight incredible singers and dancers, this show spotlights how the 'sound of hope' changed an entire generation - altering the course of American music forever.

This was a unique David Byrne experience that included great music, energy, quirkiness and amazing dancers who, by interacting with the band, propelled this from what at first reminded me a performance art installation into a superbly choreographed theatrical concert. A real treat. Collapse
