    It's August! Has the high cost of travel kept you from making one last trip to shore? Take a local vacation when It's Just Beachy opens at the Smithfield Cultural Arts Center with artwork all about relaxing near the ocean and at the beach. Come enjoy paintings and sculpture done by three committed beach-bums: Aubre Duncan of Ocean View, Delaware; Bettie Cheek of Norfolk, and Smithfield's own Valerie Johnson. Let the tropical colors and carefree summer images take you away to where you can feel the ocean breezes and the sand between your toes. Ah, summer!
