    Nauticus will host its Annual Gala as presented by Farm Fresh and the Farm Fresh Charitable Foundation. This year's 'Underwater Odyssey'-themed event will benefit Nauticus' educational programs as well as help to develop exhibits in the museum and on the Battleship Wisconsin. 'Farm Fresh is a valued member of our corporate membership program, Partners-In-Learning, and their dedication to the community is well known,' says Nauticus Acting Director John Rhamstine. 'Earlier this year they were also a major sponsor of the 9th Annual Battleship Wisconsin Golf Outing. We're very happy to be working with them again on this extra special event.' Ron Dennis, President and COO of Farm Fresh, is also pleased with the partnership. 'Our commitment to educational initiatives made this event an especially good fit for Farm Fresh,' he said. 'Nauticus has outstanding programs and we are very pleased to support their fundraising efforts.' This unique black-tie event will include music by The Continentals as well as both silent and live auctions featuring items donated from local businesses. Some of the this year's exciting biddable items include cruises, spa packages and vacations. RSVPs must be received by September 12. Proceeds will help Nauticus expand its education outreach programs and reach even more schoolchildren each year through refreshed exhibits, classroom visits, summer camps, after-school programs, and teacher training workshops. By making science, mathematics, and history both fun and compelling, Nauticus sparks the imagination of more than 320,000 visitors annually, including more than 100,000 schoolchildren.
