Think you might have a valuable heirloom stored in the attic, in your library, on display in your curio cabinet, or stashed away in a drawer? You might be pleasantly surprised as to how valuable that piece might be. The Isle of Wight Branch (APVA) will host an Antiques Appraisal Fair on the grounds of the 1750 Courthouse. Bring your glassware, ceramics, furniture, art, silver, books, linens, antique toys, militaria, coins and other 'curiosities,' and learn about what you have. Certified appraisers, Dr. William Irvin and Darrell Olgers from Motley's Auction and Realty Group in Richmond, will give verbal appraisals, along with others from Newport News, Portsmouth, Williamsburg and Smithfield.
