This 30-minute tour of the original 1607 James Fort site is conducted by an APVA Preservation Virginia archaeologist. Learn how historical archaeology was used in 1994 by Dr. William Kelso to rediscover the once-lost fort site and how it is still used today by staff archaeologists to locate features of the fort's interior and artifact treasures.
