The Fred Heutte Center is pleased to continue its Urban Gardener Lecture Series for 2008. They have gathered a variety of speakers who will provide expertise in different gardening-related fields. The series is geared for beginners and specialists. Herbs are the spice of life - not only do they invigorate us with their scent, they can enliven our everyday cooking, too! Without dill, what would a pickle be? Come join Elizabeth Meska and explore a variety of herbs and spices and learn how to use them to enhance your meals and your life! Participants will sample some tasty bites and make their own Bouquet garni, as well as and go home with recipes for tasty herb blends to liven up their food.
