The two days I attended, the progression of performers seemed upside down. The sound was horrible and I mean horrible. The Coliseum is old, hot, dim with poor seating angles. The concert as a whole could have been much better in the round instead of the far end stage. Ancillary stuff to do would have been appreciated like after parties and other festivities. Parking for one concert event next to the Coliseum was $10.00 and all they sold was food with some minor vendors. Will NEVER make the mistake of staying in and around Hampton again! Next time if I go next time, will stay at VA Beach and commute to the concert. Finally the crowd had little energy and Jill Scott as well as Gladys Knight were an absolute bore; neither should have been the show stoppers. By contrast, KEM, Bonney James, Kenny G and Raheem De Vaughn put on good performances with a lot of energy Collapse
