The boardwalk and park at 17th Street transforms into an artistic oasis at the beach during the <i>Chalk the Walk ARTsplosion</i>, which features the <i>17th Street Art Festival</i>! The art festival showcases the fine craftmanship and quality artwork being produced by local artists of the region. Original paintings in a variety of media, clay work from functional to sculptural, mosaics, jewelry, wood, photography, and more will all be displayed and available for purchase during the day!

All artists and “wanna-be” artists have the opportunity to be expressive in a medium that people of all ages can relate to! The boardwalk is the perfect canvas for chalk drawings set against the rhythmic background of the Atlantic Ocean!
