Since World War II, woodturning has quietly developed as an art form - now embraced by collectors and museums. New tools and techniques have freed turners to explore new forms and ideas. Featured in this exhibition are wood-turners from the tidewater region of Virginia, many of whom are members of the Tidewater Turners. Presented in this exhibition are works by Bob Chiavarini, Tom Crabb, Mike Dennis, Cliff Guard, Jim Vogle, Wolfgang Voglebean and Jerry Whitehurst.
