    The Williamsburg Players is holding auditions for the comedy Father of the Bride.

    Auditions will take place next Thursday, August 21st at 7:00 pm at the James-York Playhouse, located at 200 Hubbard Lane in Williamsburg.


     


    Casting requirements are:

    3 Adult Males - 20+, 1 Adult Male - mid 40's, 201 Adult Female - 40's, 2 Females 17+, 2 Females Late teens / Early 20's, 2 Males Late teens, 1 Male Early Teen, 1 Female between 30 & 50, 3 Males any age

    SYNOPSIS: Kay, out of nowhere, announces her engagement. They don't want a big wedding - just a simple affair with a few friends! That’s when the trouble really begins. The guest list grows larger each day; a caterer, florists, furniture movers and dressmakers take over, and the Banks’ household is soon caught in turmoil. When Kay calls off the wedding, everyone's patience snaps. But all is set right, and the wedding comes off beautifully.
