    The Virginia Opera seeks an intern for its Statewide Education Program for Fall 2008. The Education Arts Administration intern will work primarily with the Education Coordinator. Duties include but are not limited to: clerical and administrative work; research and data collection for a new touring arts initiative; involved with rehearsal for touring production, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: the ideal candidate should possess knowledge of performing arts, strong computer skills, valid driver’s license and transportation, and interest in pursuing a career in non-profit arts administration. A commitment of 10-15 hours per week is required. This is a paid internship.
