    The Virginia Chorale announces auditions for roster and substitute positions will take place in Norfolk on August 27, 2008 or by appointment. Resume (vocal/musical) submission is required before appointments can be made. Additional audition dates will be announced, if needed. Audition requirements are listed on the Chorale website at www.vachorale.org.


    Members of Virginia’s only fully professional choral ensemble receive compensation for all rehearsals and performances. Those who live outside the local regional area also receive a travel and per diem stipend. The critically acclaimed Virginia Chorale performs four to five subscription concerts each season, with clustered weekend rehearsals and dual performances, and has a strong history of high profile projects and recordings.
