    A cast of has-been actors plan to revive their careers in Drop Dead!, a potboiler murder mystery directed by "Wonder Child of the Broadway Stage" Victor Le Pewe (a psychotic eye twitching megalomaniac). At the dress rehearsal the set falls, props break, and the producer and an actor are murdered. During the opening night performance, the murders continue. The remaining thespians must save the show and their careers, solve the mystery and stay alive for curtain calls.

    ALL ETHNICITIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO AUDITION


    Victor LePewe- 40s- 60s: A psychotic, overly passionate and completely egotistical director of the play. Flamboyant and theatrical.


    Mona Monet- 40s- 60s: Was once a glamorous TV star. Now, a has been, living in the past who still demands star treatment.


    Chaz Looney -20s-30s: an enthusiastic, awestruck new actor.


    Phillip-20s-50s: Over-worked, dedicated stage manager who is completely in love with and worships Victor LePewe.


    Sol Weisenheimer- 40s-60s: The producer. Believes his wealth can buy him anything, and everyone.


    Alabama Miller- 40s-60s :The playwright. Tortured by the creation and destruction of his art. (Can also be a woman)


    Candy Apples- 20s-30s: Blonde, ditzy girlfriend of the producer, who has a role in the play because she is sleeping with the boss.


    Constance Crawford- 60s-80s(or someone who can PLAY this age): A very seasoned stage actress. Senile, yet professional.


    Brent Reynolds- 30s-50s The well trained, highly experienced leading man, who tells anyone who will listen about his skills and years of studying method acting.


    Dick Shalit- 40s-60s: Gene Shalit’s brother.
